Flat Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    salt
    enough milk to moisten
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and add enough milk to mixture so you can roll out dough.
    Cut any way you wish.
    Drop in boiling broth.
