Shaker Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large lemons
    4 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. sugar
    pie dough for double crust pie
Preparation
    Slice lemons very thin with rind on.
    Mix with sugar and let stand overnight.
    Blend occasionally.
    Add eggs to lemon mixture and mix.
    Put in shell, arranging slices evenly.
    Cover with top crust.
    Cut several slits near center.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 375\u00b0.
    Bake for 20 minutes more or until knife comes out clean.
    Cool before serving.
