Tangy Tomato Slices - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. vegetable oil
1/3 c. vinegar
1/4 c. minced fresh parsley
3 Tbsp. minced fresh basil
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 medium onion, sliced
6 large tomatoes, sliced
Preparation

In a small bowl or a jar with tight-fitting lid, mix the first 9 ingredients.
Layer onion and tomatoes in a shallow glass dish. Pour the marinade over; cover and refrigerate for several hours. Yields 12 servings.
