Chocolate Marshmallow Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. milk
    24 large marshmallows, cut in half
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla.
    Sift together flour, salt, soda and cocoa and blend alternately with milk.
    Stir in nuts.
    Bake 7 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Remove from oven and press marshmallow in half, cut side down, on each cookie.
    Return to oven 4 minutes; cool and spread with icing.
