Caldo Gallego("For A Crowd") - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. navy beans
    1 1/2 qt. water
    8 c. chicken broth
    2 smoked ham hocks
    3 chopped onions
    1 lb. link sausage (hot), cut in bite-size pieces
    2 bay leaves
    fresh ground pepper
Preparation
    Soak navy beans overnight.
    Put in large pot with water, chicken broth, ham hocks, onions, sausage, bay leaves and ground pepper.
    Simmer until beans are done.
    Add water as needed and 4 diced potatoes.
    Just before serving, add 1 pound of fresh spinach.
    Serve with corn bread.
