Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 Tbsp. thyme
    1 Tbsp. garlic salt
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. cooked, chopped broccoli
Preparation
    In a pot, cook onion in butter until tender.
    Blend in flour and seasonings.
    Add milk, stirring constantly.
    Cook slowly until thick.
    Add cheese; cook until melted.
    Remove from heat.
    In a cup, dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water.
    Stir into cheese mixture.
    Blend in broccoli.
    Cook until heated.
    Serves 6.
