Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion
    4 to 5 medium potatoes
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and season to taste with salt and pepper. Alternate layers of beef, onions and sliced potatoes in a casserole dish.
    Pour mushroom soup, to which has been added 1/2 can of water, over the layers.
    Top with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until potatoes are done.
