Fried Apple Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    apples, or may use other fruit such as pears, peaches or berries
    cornstarch
    self-rising flour
    sugar
    cinnamon (optional)
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1 c. sweet milk
    oil
Preparation
    Peel fruit; sweeten to taste.
    Cook slow in juice until tender.
    Do
    not add water.
    Use cornstarch dissolved in water to thicken.
