Sour Cream Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream butter till soft, add sugar and cream until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix together flour, soda, baking powder and salt;
add to first mixture.
Alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour half of batter into lightly greased 13 x 9 inch pan. cover batter with half filling/topping mixture.
Add remaining batter and other half of filling.
