Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, broken in small pieces
    1 can English peas
    2 boiled eggs, sliced
    1 tomato, diced
    1 pkg. grated cheese
    mayonnaise to cover layer
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 pkg. bacon, fried and crumbled
    1 onion, diced (optional)
Preparation
    Layer the lettuce, mayonnaise (salad dressing), sugar, peas, onion and cheese.
    Refrigerate for 10 hours.
    Before serving, layer bacon and eggs.
