Barbecued Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. spareribs
    1 clove garlic
    1 large onion, diced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. diced green pepper
    1 c. ketchup
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3 dashes Tabasco sauce
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    2 bouillon cubes (beef), dissolved in 2 c. boiling water
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Rub ribs with cut side of clove of garlic.
    Place in shallow baking pan.
    Roast, uncovered, 30 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
