Tourtiere(Meat Pie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 1/2 lb. ground pork
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    2 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    2 tsp. sage
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    pastry for 3 pies
Preparation
    Pour oil into very large pot over low heat.
    Add all ingredients remaining, except pastry; mix well.
    Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes, or until most liquid is absorbed but mixture is still very moist.
    Let cool.
    Line pie plates with pastry.
    Add filling; cover with top crust.
    Seal and cut slits in top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
