Sinful Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1 c. boiling water
    3 medium bananas, mashed
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    2 pt. large strawberries, cut in half
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Combine Jell-O and water; stir until dissolved.
    Cool; add bananas, nuts, strawberries and pineapple to Jell-O and stir until blended.
    Divide this mixture in 2 parts; pour 1/2 into 8 x 12-inch pan.
    Refrigerate about 1 hour (keep remainder at room temperature).
    Spread sour cream over partially set Jell-O.
    Pour remainder over sour cream.
    Cover and refrigerate until set, about 1 1/2 hours or overnight.
    Serves 12.
