Cavatini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1/2 lb. sliced pepperoni
    1 (16 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
    1 lb. grated Mozzarella cheese
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. mostaccioli rigati pasta
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Saute onion, green pepper and mushrooms in oil.
    Add pepperoni and heat thoroughly.
    Add spaghetti sauce; continue to cook on low.
    While sauce is heating, cook pasta as per package instructions for about 8 minutes.
    Drain pasta and pour into a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
    Stir half of the Mozzarella cheese into the sauce.
    Pour the sauce over the pasta and stir.
    Sprinkle remaining Mozzarella cheese into the mixture and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and mixture is heated throughout.
