Salisbury Steak With Onion Gravy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (10 oz.) can onion soup
1 1/2 lb. ground beef or turkey
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg, fork beaten
dash of salt
dash of pepper
1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. ketchup
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. mustard
Preparation

In bowl combine 1/3 cup soup with ground beef, crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Shape into 6 oval patties.
In frypan brown patties.
Drain off fat.
Gradually blend flour into remaining soup, mixing until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients, blending well.
Add to frypan.
Heat to boiling, stirring to loosen up brown bits.
Cover and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add patties to gravy in frypan.
Cover and simmer an additional 15 minutes.
These patties freeze very well; place patties and gravy in a \"freezer to oven\" container for convenience.
