Cheese Strata - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 loaf white sliced bread, crust removed
12 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
6 eggs, slightly beaten
3 1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. instant minced onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
sausage or diced ham (optional)
Preparation

Make 1 layer of bread on bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Add a layer of cheese and another layer of bread. Top with layer of cheese.
Combine eggs, milk, minced onion, salt and dry mustard. Pour over cheese and bread and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
