Winter Salad Bowl - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 bunch curly endive
    1 small head lettuce
    2 oranges, pared and sliced (can use jarred orange slices or mandarin orange segments)
    1/2 mild white or Bermuda onion, sliced and separated into rings
    dressing of your choice
    toasted walnuts
Preparation
    Tear endive and head lettuce into bite-sized pieces in large bowl.
    Arrange orange slices and onion rings on top of greens. Saute 1/2 cup walnuts in 2 tablespoons butter or margarine; add with dressing and toss.
