Chicken A La King(Low In Calories And Fat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chicken
    1 c. brown rice
    1 c. regular rice
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 small garlic clove
    1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. carrots, blanched and sliced
    2 c. frozen peas
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. onion powder
    1 tsp. ground allspice
    2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cook chicken ahead and cut up.
    Cook rice.
    Saute chicken, onion, garlic and mushrooms in oil for 2 minutes.
    Add to water, cornstarch, chicken base, salt, garlic powder, onion powder and allspice.
    Pour over chicken mixture.
    Let simmer about 5 minutes, until thickens.
    Add blanched carrots and frozen peas.
    Heat thoroughly.
