Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. popped corn
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. corn syrup (white)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix together the brown sugar, margarine, syrup and salt and bring to a boil over low heat. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add the vanilla and soda (will cause mixture to foam). Stir quickly and well.
    Pour over popped corn and stir. Bake in a 225\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or microwave for 9 minutes, stirring every 1 1/2 minutes.
    Stir it.
