Old-Fashion Pinto Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried pinto beans
    1 tsp. salt
    ham hock bone (2)
Preparation
    Sort and wash beans; soak overnight in large pot.
    Rinse and refill covering beans.
    Add ham bones and salt.
    Let beans come to a boil.
    Turn to medium heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
    Add hot water if needed and water boils down. Beans will make own thickness.
