Corn Oysters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. bacon fat
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 beaten eggs
1 (16 oz.) can corn, drained (save liquid)
1/4 c. liquid (from corn)
Preparation

Heat fat and oil in deep fryer or Dutch oven to 375\u00b0.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, eggs and corn liquid.
Stir in corn. Drop by rounded tablespoons into hot fat until brown approximately 4 to 5 minutes.
