Fruit Cocktail-Nuts Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. fruit cocktail (including liquid)
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix and cream first 5 ingredients.
    Pour into lightly greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch deep cake pan.
    Mix the brown sugar and nuts together and sprinkle onto the batter.
    Place in oven and bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Spread icing on cake while hot.
