Rum Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. confectioners sugar
    1/2 to 1 c. rum
    1 angel food cake, trimmed and cut into 1-inch cubes
    2 c. fine vanilla wafer crumbs
    2 c. finely ground pecans
Preparation
    Combine butter,
    sugar\tand
    rum in double boiler; cook until well
    blended,
    stirring
    constantly.
    Dip cake cubes in mixture; roll in
    mixture
    of
    crumbs
    and
    pecans.\tPlace in paper bonbon cups.
    Store in airtight container in cool place; let ripen before serving.
    Yield: 8 dozen.
