Snicker Bar Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    14 to 16 oz. caramels
    1 stick margarine
    3/4 c. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to box instructions.
    Pour half of this mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. (Don't flour pan.) This is the crust.
    Bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Meanwhile, melt caramels with margarine and milk.
    Pour over baked crust. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over caramel mixture.
    Spread remaining batter over top.
    Bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0, then bake for 5 minutes at 325\u00b0.
