Jack Daniels B B Q Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 large onion, minced
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    3/4 c. Jack Daniels Whiskey
    2 c. ketsup
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    3/4 c. molasses
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 c. tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
    1/3 tsp. Tabasco
Preparation
    Combine onion, garlic, and Whiskey in a 3 qt. pot.
    Saute several minutes.
    Remove from heat and light mixture, flame for 20 seconds.
    Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Simmer 20-25 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Run sauce throughy a medium strainer to remove onion and garlic bits if you prefer a smoother sauce.
    Cool and enjoy on any kind of meat.
    Makes about 4 cups.
