Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. cold milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. milk, scalded
    3 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. Baker's shredded coconut
Preparation
    Blend sugar, flour, salt and egg yolks with cold milk. Add scalded milk while stirring constantly. Cook slowly until thick. Remove from stove and add vanilla and 1/2 cup coconut. Pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue; sprinkle with 1/2 cup coconut on top. Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0 until browned.
