Beef And Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

1 large head cabbage (approximately 4 lb.)
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. oil
3/4 tsp. salt
1 small onion, minced
1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1/3 c. regular rice
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 c. water
Preparation

Chop cabbage coarsely.
Cook in oil and salt over medium heat in covered pan until tender.
(You may want to add about 1/4 cup of water while cooking.)
Brown meat and onion.
Add sauce, water and rice.
Simmer until rice is done (about 20 minutes).
Starting with sauce in bottom of casserole dish, add a layer of cabbage, then sauce and cheese.
Repeat layering.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
