Beef Steak And Tortilla Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef round steak, cut into strips
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (10 oz.) can mild enchilada sauce
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 pkg. corn tortillas
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown round steak in oil in skillet; season with salt and pepper.
    Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid.
    Add enough water to reserved liquid to measure 1 1/4 cups.
    Add to steak.
    Simmer, covered, for 1 hour.
    Add tomato sauce, enchilada sauce, mushrooms, 1/2 cup onion and garlic; mix well.
    Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
    Dip tortillas, one at a time in sauce; place in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Spoon 2 teaspoons onion along one side of tortilla; roll up to enclose onion.
    Arrange in baking dish. Stir 3/4 cup cheese into sauce; spoon sauce over tortillas.
    Top with remaining cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
