Egg And Sausage Strata - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 slices white bread, crusts removed and cubed
1 1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. green pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano
6 eggs
1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimentos, drained
3 c. milk
1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation

Line greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with bread cubes; set aside. In skillet brown sausage, onion and green pepper; drain.
Stir in pimento and sprinkle over bread.
In large bowl mix eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper and oregano.
Pour over sausage mixture in pan.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake covered at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center is clean.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Makes 12 to 15 servings.
