Corn Bread Surprise Muffins(Low-Fat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. cornmeal
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites
    1 c. skim milk
    1/2 c. applesauce
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Lightly oil muffin pans.
    In medium bowl, combine thoroughly the first five ingredients.
    Place egg whites in a 2 cup measure.
    Add milk to measure 1 1/4 cups.
    Beat with fork.
    Stir in applesauce.
    Heat pans for 1 minute in oven.
