Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head cabbage
2 carrots
1 green pepper
1 Tbsp. salt
1 c. vinegar
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation

Cut cabbage, carrots and green pepper; mix together.
Put the salt on top of this.
Let stand 1 hour, then squeeze out and drain. Boil the vinegar, sugar, water and celery seed together for 1 minute.
Cool, then pour mixture over the drained cabbage.
May be frozen or kept in the refrigerator for over a week.
