Pineapple Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1-1/2 c. pinto beans
    1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. oil
    2-1/2 Tbsp mustard
    1/2 can tomato paste
    1 c. crushed pineapple and juice (8 oz. can)
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    3 cup water
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Cook beans with salt, bay leaf and cumin.
    Simmer in a tightly covered pot for about 2 hours.
    Add oil and continue cooking until beans are tender.
    Add more water if necessary.
    Add other ingredients.
    Salt and pepper to taste. Pour mixture into a casserole dish and place in a 275 degree oven for one hour or so.
    Can be made ahead and can be frozen.
