American Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, sliced
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    butter
    1 lb. bottom round, chopped
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. cooked rice
    1 can cream of tomato soup
Preparation
    Fry onion and celery in butter until light brown.
    Add beef and water.
    Let simmer 1/2 hour, then add rice and soup.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Cook 10 minutes longer to serve hot.
