Ingredients

8 to 10 peeled and sliced carrots
1 c. water
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. maple syrup
1 tsp. powdered mustard
Preparation

Mix carrots, water and sugar; cook for 10 minutes or until tender.
Keep warm.
Reserve 1/2 cup cooking liquid.
Add butter, syrup and mustard to the 1/2 cup cooking liquid; cook 5 to 7 minutes to heavy syrup stage.
Add carrots and cook until glazed.
