Microwave Pot Roast(Yields 6 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef chuck roast
    1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes (undrained)
    1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 stick cinnamon
    2 medium white potatoes, quartered
    4 medium carrots, cut into 2-inch pieces
    2 stalks celery, cut into 2-inch pieces
Preparation
    Place roast in 3-quart casserole.
    In small bowl, mix tomatoes, onion, garlic powder, cayenne and pepper.
    Add cinnamon stick. Pour over roast.
    Cover.
    Microwave on High for 5 minutes. Microwave 30 more minutes at 1/2 power.
    Add remaining ingredients. Re-cover.
    Microwave at 1/2 power for 30 to 45 minutes or until roast and vegetables are tender.
    Let stand for 10 minutes.
    Serve with biscuits.
