Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cut green beans
    1 can wax beans
    1 can red kidney beans
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. red vinegar or wine vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 purple onion (for garnish)
Preparation
    Drain fluid from beans; discard.
    Mix well all other ingredients and marinate at least 8 hours.
    Give beans a stir now and then.
    Salad may be garnished with sliced purple onion.
