Egg Nog Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) can flaked coconut
1/2 c. sliced blanched almonds, finely chopped
3 Tbsp. margarine
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
1 1/2 tsp. rum extract
1/8 tsp. ground allspice
4 egg whites (room temperature)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. whipping cream
Preparation

Early morning or day ahead:
Prepare nut pie crust.
Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
In 9-inch pie plate with hand, mix coconut, almonds and margarine.
Press mixture firmly onto bottom and sides of pie plate.
Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on wire rack.
