Grandma'S Ginger Creams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. molasses
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. hot water, boiling
4 c. flour
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
Preparation
-
Cream together shortening, molasses, sugar and egg.
Add water.
Sift together flour, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, salt and soda.
Add dry ingredients to cream mixture.
Mix well. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes until done.
