Pecan Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and soda.
    Set aside.
    Cream shortening and butter.
    Add brown sugar, eggs and flour mixture.
    Add pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
