Eggnog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. rum
    2 c. bourbon
    2 c. heavy or whipping cream
    2 c. milk
    grated nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat the egg yolks well in a medium size bowl; set aside.
    Beat the egg whites in a large bowl until stiff, then add the sugar. Fold the egg yolks into the egg white and sugar mixture until thoroughly combined.
    Stir in the rum, bourbon, cream and milk; beat well.
    Pour into a punch bowl; sprinkle the nutmeg on top. Yields 12 servings.
