Date Roll Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1 box dates, cut into small pieces
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. milk
2 c. pecans

Preparation

Boil sugar and milk 15 minutes. Add dates, cook until a small amount dropped into cold water forms a soft ball. Remove from heat. Add nuts and vanilla, beat until creamy. Pour on damp cloth, roll. When cool, cut into pieces.
