Spiced Peaches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (No. 2 1/2) can peaches
1/2 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
dash of salt
8 cloves
1 cinnamon stock
Preparation

Drain peaches; to the syrup, add sugar, vinegar, salt and spices.
Heat to boiling and simmer until sugar is dissolved. Pour this spiced syrup over peaches.
Let stand overnight.
Store in covered jar in refrigerator.
