Snowball Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. and 4 Tbsp. boiling water
    1 pkg. sugar-free strawberry Jell-O
    1 c. sliced strawberries, sweetened and covered (set in refrigerator 2 hours)
    1 (12 oz.) container lite Cool Whip
    1 angel food cake
    3 apples, chopped
    2 bananas, sliced
    2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin orange segments, drained
    1 (11 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained (keep juice)
    1 c. sliced seedless white grapes
    1 c. sliced maraschino cherries, well drained (keep juice)
    1 small pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    1 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and cherries; reserve juice.
    Mix first 6 ingredients together; toss lightly, pudding mix and juice from pineapple and cherries being sure the juice is 1 cup.
    Press fruit down into pudding mixture and chill in covered tightly dish. Refrigerate a couple of hours or overnight.
