Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. plain flour
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3/4 c. sugar
4 medium size apples
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
chopped pecans
Preparation

Cook the first 5 ingredients until thick on medium-low heat. Set aside to cool.
Peel and cut into bite size pieces the apples; add to cooled mixture.
Top with the softened cream cheese and Cool Whip; mix with mixer and put on top.
Garnish with chopped pecans.
