Chicken Pasta Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. broiler fryer
    1 small onion, cut into quarters
    8 oz. rotelle macaroni
    salad oil
    2 large carrots, thinly sliced diagonally
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, cut each into quarters
    1/2 bunch broccoli, cut into 2 x 1-inch pieces
    1/2 small head cauliflower, separated into flowerets
    1 bunch green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    salt
Preparation
    Cook chicken and onion in water until done, then bone.
    Cut into bite size pieces.
    Cook macaroni as label directs; drain.
    In 8-quart pot, heat salad oil (1 tablespoon); cook carrots and 1/4 teaspoon salt until tender-crisp, about 3 to 5 minutes.
    Remove to bowl.
