Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 stick (1/2 c.) margarine
    1/4 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 to 4 qt. popped popcorn
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt in 4-cup glass microwave bowl.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cook on High for 2 more minutes.
    Remove from microwave and add baking soda; stir.
    Put popped popcorn in brown grocery bag.
    Pour syrup over popped corn. Close bag and shake.
    Cook in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes on High.
    Shake bag well and cook 1 1/2 minutes more.
    Cool on cookie sheet.
    This way, you won't have to break it up too much.
