Candy Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup buttermilk
4 large eggs
1 tsp. soda
1/2 lb. dates
1 can angel flake coconut
2 cups pecans
1 lb. candy orange slices

Preparation

Soften 1 cup butter or margarine.
Add 2 - 3 oz. packages cream cheese, beat until smooth and creamy.
Sift and measure 2 cups flour.
