Cheese Ball - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped pecans
4 oz. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp. chopped green onion
2 tsp. dry sherry
Preparation

Combine one package of cream cheese and sour cream, mixing until well blended.
Spread mixture on bottom and side of one-quart bowl lined with plastic wrap.
Sprinkle with pecans. Combine remaining cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, onions and sherry, mixing at medium speed until well blended.
Press into bowl over pecans.
Chill overnight.
Unmold onto serving plate.
Remove plastic wrap and smooth.
Garnish with pecan halves.
Serve with rye party slices and butter crackers.
