Barley Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. barley
    1/2 c. butter
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 large can mushrooms (use juice)
    4 c. boiling water
    6 beef bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Saute onion and barley until brown.
    Add other ingredients. Bake in a greased casserole for 2 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
    Can use a slow cooker.
