Coconut Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. coconut
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour and salt.
Gradually stir in milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
Cook for 2 minutes longer.
Remove from heat.
Stir small amount of hot mixture into egg yolks.
Return to hot mixture.
Cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat; add 1 cup coconut, butter and vanilla.
Pour into pie crust.
